    L: veggie burger on 2 slices Ezekial bread, tomato, cole slaw
    S: nuts and cranberries
    3 mile walk
    D: 2 pieces Machengo cheese, 2 whole wheat pita chips. red wine... a couple of small glasses, 3 slices of artichoke/red pepper/prosciutto pizza

    Yesterday:

    Breakfast: pork bulk sausage, eggs, strawberries, coffee with a bit of coconut milk
    Lunch: roasted chicken quarter and romaine lettuce salad with veggies and a bit of walnut oil/salt & pepper dressing

    30 mile lovely bike ride - had a small piece of nitrate free beef jerky with 4 dried cherries (unsweetened) and 4 macadamia nuts at the halfway point.

    D: 4 oz baked Pacific salmon, sauteed bok choy and lacinto kale, 1 beer

    Today:

    Breakfast: eggs, bacon, baby spinach, coffee

    75 minute hard workout - though it wasn't as hard as it once was

    L: cold roasted chicken quarter and strawberries (between workout and Irish Festival - figured I was less likely to eat bad stuff if I ate first).
    Watermelon at the festival.

    D: 3 ounces braised arm roast (heavenly!) with bok choy and kale sauteed with onion, mushrooms, garlic and olive oil. I had a good amount of garlic in the broth for the braising as well. It is good I am single with all of the garlic Dessert was a little "shake" made with 1/4 cup coconut milk and strawberries blended with 3 ice cubes. Delish!

    D: Rosh Hashanah dinner... 2 glasses of wine, red pepper and hummus.
    baked chicken thigh in mushroom wine sauce, one piece of kugel, zucchini and summer squash, one piece of challah, strawberries and vanilla low fat ice cream

    B- cornflakes with fresh raspberries, blackberries and grapes, skim milk, a dollop of plain yogurt. Tea with skim milk.

    Snack- a Middleastern thin flatbread with sumach spice, small walnut phyllo pastry, water
    Snack- quarter slice of Chinese lotus seed moon cake (it's Autumn Festival) and tea with milk. Back after a 40 km. ride. But before another 28 km. ride for farmers market visit elsewhere.

    Fresh peach and tea with milk.

    Dinner- steamed trout fillet with ginger root, onion, a bit of soy sauce, oil. Stir fry of fresh noodle, bok choy, green and yellow beans, onion and garlic.

    B: a couple of dried apricots and walnuts before boot camp. egg whites, salsa, and yellow pepper, blueberries ad strawberries, coffee after class
    L: salad of lettuce, chicken breast, olives, red pepper, goat cheese, more coffee after sitting through 2.5 hours of religious services
    D: left over chicken breast with mushrooms, steamed broccoli with a bit of melted low fat cheddar, 2 squares dark chocolate

    1 piece of wg toast, peanut butter, coffee
    snack: strawberries
    Lunch: 1 small piece of leftover lasagna
    Dinner: roasted turkey, rice, peas, 1 beer
    1 piece cake with ice cream
