It will take a bit of getting used to. I always just click on "New Posts" when I get to the forum, and I did find that, so I guess I can figure out the rest of it too. Change is challenging as I get really comfortable with the old way, but I will try to adapt! I do miss the photo at the top of the gal riding.

She will probably come back in the next day or two -- I still need to re-edit the templates to incorporate customizations like that.

I like the "what's new" link. I wonder if it will let me bookmark it--bookmarking "new posts" with the previous version didn't work.

I don't use Tapatalk and this one is a little tougher to see on the phone - color scheme is less varied. Guess I'll have to go on and get the app.

Change is good, it also takes a little getting used to. I haven't looked it over much yet but I bet it will be better. Color is good, suggestion would be more contrast or even the addition of another color just for jazziness.

I hate this kind of change.
When I clicked on my bookmark, I thought I was on drugs. It took me to some weird part of the forum, like Activity record. But, when I logged in, it brought me back to the threaded view I've always had it set on.
It's just the visual change that is hard for me to get used to. I don't use any of the fancy stuff.
I got the Tapatalk for my I Phone, but, I found it very difficult to use. I just access TE from my bookmarks and it's fine.

On the computer now. Even on a big screen it's hard to see the difference between the blue word bubble and the dark gray word bubble. Other than that, I'm fine with the new stuff

Arrrrrgh, change, change, arrrrgh. Make it go away . Quick, more coffee. Ahhhh, somewhat better.

Can we make the board pink? Just kidding. Thanks for all the work you do maintaining the board.

One thing I noticed on my iPhone (it's less apparent on the desktop) is that the titles of threads are really small in comparison to the "started by" and time/date information. It makes it hard to read and hard to tap the title rather than the poster's name. If anybody sees my name listed for who has viewed their profile, that's probably why!

"New Posts" is in the upper left, right under "What's New?"

I find the new format harder to read because the type is so small. Just as well, I shouldn't spend so much time on the forum anyways, as I do actually have a Real Life. I'm sure it's more functional, though, and that's a good thing. 90-seconds between posts is completely reasonable. I hate hackers.

I agree. Very hard to read on my phone. Needs more contrast, especially for these old eyes.

I dug through my personal settings, and we have no option to change font size or color scheme? ( on the PC)

In the lower left corner there is a "style" dropdown that I can populate with different styles. Right now there is a default and a mobile style -- mobile users who don't use Tapatalk, you can choose the mobile style for less clutter and bigger fonts. I'll look into finding / building some alternate styles that address some of the concerns being raised (font size, contrast, etc).

I like the new look. Like a lot of people I'm still getting the hang of this and I keep clicking onto the wrong thing but I'll get there. Helps when I've got my glasses on. Thanks for the work that goes into maintaining the forum.
