    L: BLT sammy on whole wheat toast
    D: 1/2 grilled chicken breast, 1 portobello mushroom stuffed with roasted tomato polenta, spinach and topped with mozzarella cheese grilled, tiny small green beans right out of the garden, 2 glasses white wine

    (rest day)
    B: corn tortilla with melted cheese and salsa, a peach, coffee
    S: nuts, cranberries, chocolate bits
    L: salad with turkey breast, grape tomatoes, romaine, an apple
    S: Ezekial raisin bread, toasted
    D: w went out to a really nice restaurant in Boston and then to see Billy Elliot. Although it was noisy, the food was great. I cheated a bit... appetizer of tuna carpaccio, pretty normal size serving of orrechiete pasta with broccoli and spicy sausage crumbles in a broth kind of sauce, 1 piece of bread with hummus, shared a small round piece of decadent chocolate cake with DH, oh yea and 2.5 glasses of sangria.

    Today:
    Did a very hard just under 50 mile ride. Did not feel so great from last night, mostly from lack of enough sleep.
    B: 2 eggs over easy, 2 pieces TJ's uncured bacon, one piece Ezekial raisin toast, a peach, coffee.
    L: soy nut butter and jelly sand. on Ezekial whole wheat (ate about 3/4), handful of nuts. I can't eat in the middle of hard rides.
    while riding, I had 1.5 bottles of Nuun and some plain water, a Luna Bar, one shot block
    S: slice of low salt Black Forest ham, 2 whole wheat crackers, a beer
    D: (it's cooking) quiche made with tofu instead of eggs, red pepper, summer squash, and mushrooms, topped with tomato

    L: 1/2 piece of grilled chicken, 1 peach
    D: 1/2 ribeye steak, baked potato, broccoli, 2 glasses red wine
    1/2 piece cherry pie and ice cream

    Wow, I think I ate a bunch of calories yesterday!

    I am really sick... finally went to the Minute Clinic and the NP agreed with my own dx of sinus infection. I should have gone last week! Praying it doesn't go into my chest at this point, so no exercise for a couple of days.
    B: endive stuffed with low fat cream cheese and lox, half a plain whole wheat bagel, coffee
    L: left over tofu/veggie quiche, an apple
    S: nuts and cranberries
    D: chicken breast with curried apple slices (and a little honey), cous cous, 2 squares dark chocolate

    Let's not mention the weekend....back on track now though. Considering it was a camping/mtb weekend I didn't do too badly. Until there was beer...

    Today:

    B: eggs, 2 slices uncured bacon, spinach, a bit of whole milk, coffee
    1 hour hard workout
    S: macadamia nuts and a few raisins
    L: roasted chicken, salad with baby spinach, kale, carrots, onion, tomato, broccoli, olive oil/lemon juice dressing
    S: a few macadamia nuts
    D: roasted chicken, kale, onion, and mushrooms (veggies sauteed in coconut oil - yummy!), strawberries with a bit of coconut milk poured over for dessert.

    Still under my calorie target a bit, but not too bad.

    D: hamburger goulash with tomatoes, squash, onions, tomato, 2 glasses white wine
    yummy homemade peach cobbler
