Once the sun reappears maybe we can help with a couple more of the weekends. I've proposed to Princess Zippy that if the Coach drives her up for the Davis Double (5/20) the rest of us could ride The Dam Corners and Valleys Loop again. We'll do 62 to her 200 and be back for beer first. Sounds like a good plan to me.

Is that Dam Corners the ride we were discussing earlier in the year... the one in the Napa area? I still want to try that one.

That would be fun (and, I'm free 5/20 too ). We might need to up the mileage a bit though, since we'll have LRRH a few weeks later.

Ride from our house in Davis adds 33.34 completely flat boring miles.

Or just go east across Vaca Valley Rd (at the south end of Pleasants Valley Rd), up Gibson Canyon and up the east side of Cantelow back over to Pleasants Valley -- maybe 10 more miles and 1,200-1,500 ft of climbing. Cantelow is where everyone (but me ) stopped while Ed rode up to the top of a ridge and back down. The east side is longer but not as steep, just several little false summits. Folks who don't want to do this extra bit can opt out but we'd all end up back on the same course.

But, of course. You've got almost two months to kick that booty into gear.

Do you think it will still be raining on May 20th?
