The best sign of spring in Spokane? The city and county are starting to sweep the roads! Ya hoo! I was very excited to find one of my main routes sweep clean on my early morning ride today. I was even more relieved on the way home. Ten miles into my ride it started rainning hard enough to turn around when you realize you have ten miles to ride to get back home. Between the rain and condensation on my glasses, my vision was "poor" to say the least. I would have had quite the time dodging road debris and traffic going 60 mph.

All I can say is it's a good thing I just got a repair stand for my bike. After riding through two construction zones, my road bike and I have never been so filthy dirty! I've had my shower, my clothes are in the washer so now I'm off to clean my bike! BikerHen
