The commute resumes again tomorrow!

if we were smart, we would go into June and start after Labor Day. The biggest school district in the state went to an extended school year, and they started on August 1st. August is the hottest month traditionally. It's been over 105 for weeks. There's no way the kids will get to go outside for recess for at least 2 more weeks because they can't be outside if the heat index is over 100. Dumb! The a/c bills alone are just outrageous. And they complain about budget cuts.... but hey dummies- it's RARELY over 100 in early June...
