You can still find them in close-out bins and on eBay for a very reasonable price. I like them too, but I don't know if they have gel in them. I don't really like gel, to tell you the truth. I thought gel saddles and gel shorts would be great, but they didn't work for me at all.

I like these Specialized gloves and Pearl Izumi Pittard Carbon gloves. The PI Pittards have great padding in just the right places (NOT like the Gel Lites, which have padding everywhere but where you need it). They have them at Performance, if you want to check them out. They have real leather palms.
