    On-line Coaching, Good/Bad/Ugly

This is my first road racing season as a happy Cat 4. I've been mostly self trained to this point and have done three stage races. I am looking for a local (Southern California) or on-line coach. I ride about 250 miles, 6 days a week, but I think I need something with structure and purpose, not just distance. Does anyone have any recommendations about who to contact, or who to avoid?

    Great dog!!!!!

I (and friends) have worked with Wenzel coaching, specifically Scott Saifer (more race oriented) and Roger Rintala (more distance ultra-enduro oriented.) They're great - very structured, focused HR training. (It was actually a bit too structured for me, but it sounds like what you're looking for.)

My friend Sky used Scott's program for racing and had good results.

I checked out their site. Pretty impressive. And they have a coach here in So Cal. Thanx for the info.

This is Dutch, the rescue shepherd with teddy bear ears, who gets hypnotized by the pedals when I spin at night while watching TV.
