New shoes!

I've been having trouble with my old Diadora cycling shoes for some time now, with numbness nearly every ride. There are no women's shoes here, however, so I had to wait until my recent trip to the US--and then I had to make a really fast decision. Of all the shoes I was able to try, the SIDI Genius was the only one that remotely felt good on my feet, but the 40s were too small (toe touched the end) and the 41s were a tad loose. I got the 41s, and they are working great with my winter socks, but I suspect they will feel loose when I switch to summer-weight socks. Would inserts fix that? Regardless, I love them! What a difference in feel.

What time of day did you try them on? If you ride on a hot day, you may appreciate the extra room towards the end of the ride. And yes, inserts may help.
