    well.... she's almost home!! I got a call from the lbs that my new baby Guru is put together and in the shop, waiting for me to come get her!!

    I think I told you all, I picked out everything about her lickety-split, no problems, but it took six emails back and forth to get the color scheme settled. I wanted pink, and they're kind of a hard-core bike shop - they don't deal with pink too often, and I'm sure they were like - "what??". Well, when Chris, the bike fitter, called me, he said - this is a really good looking bike... I hope she's fast too!!

    Congratulations! I can't wait to see the pics! I had to laugh at your LBS and the pink paint - my LBS got in one of the pink Treks and the 'guys" at the LBS were arguing over who would get to ride it! They thought it was one of the coolest bikes they'd seen in awhile! LOL different strokes for different folks
    Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

    WOW! That is one BEAUTIFUL bike Melisa!!!! I saw a project one at the store in Jan/Feb that was Polka Dots - Pink/White/Silver and from then on, I had a thing for pink bikes!

    Does she ride as well as she looks??? Come on... how is she??? I'm so excited for you!
