    Smile Ride the wave!

Today is the last day to sign up (at the reduced rate) for this fabulous "women only" ride happening on Sunday, September 16th. Four distances: 12, 25, 42 and 62.

For more info check out: www.cyclethewave.org.

This ride benefits domestic violence programs. Definitely worthwhile.

I'm signed up for the "middle sister" - 42 miles.

I have been wanting to do this one but I cannot find a buddy to do it with. Must press my friends on it again.

    Wouldn't miss it!

Odds are I will be in London by that time

I've ridden this one in the past, maybe 2-3 times. It's very well run and for a great cause! It's great to see they are adding shorter routes to increase participation.

Wow, I would love to do this. I only have a mountain bike, but I guess I could ride the 15 miles.

You could do any route you want especially with "slicks". I've seen many MTB's on centuries, even multi-day tours like the California AIDS ride. If you have suspension front fork that will lock, that will help.

A road bike or flat bar road bike might seem ideal but if the route is hilly and/or rough pavement you may be happier than we are

Awesome. I am in Oregon and it's only a few hours drive. I will do it. I will get registered tonight when I get home.
