Let's get this party started.
I dug around on the NBC Olympics website and found something about the men's road race being televised live on NBC at 5 am eastern time on July 28.
For those in the US, look on this page, on the right side (scroll down a bit), and you can enter your ZIP Code and cable TV info. Then you will be able to look up cycling events by date to see what is on TV, and which channel.

Wow, thanks for the link.
Even I can figure out what will be on TV.
Each day is a gift, that's why it is called the present.
Nice link, thanks!

I only checked the schedule for the men's road race so far. This morning I realized they give a 6-hour window for the listing -- 5 to 11 -- which means it will probably be interspersed with other events.
Fortunately my DVR has plenty of room on it, so I can record the whole 6 hours.

Who else is watching the opening ceremonies this evening? I think this is the first time I've done so.
I am, but will have to miss the end as it's getting late here. I was really impressed, so much of it resonated for me.
Dawes Cambridge Mixte, Specialized Hardrock, Specialized Vita.
mixedbabygreens My blog, which really isn't all about the bike.
Yesterday Mitt said he wasn't sure that London had it all together for the games. Cameron was brilliant, saying that it would be might be easier to stage the Games "in the middle of nowhere" (i.e. Utah) than in one of the busiest cities on the planet.
Some other numpty in the Romney team told the English press that Romney had a better understanding of our common Anglo Saxon heritage than Obama.
I heard a report about where protests and political statements will and will not be allowed in London.
Please let the sport be a diversion from the politics!

Thanks for the summary, i've been too busy to pay much attention. Let the politics step aside for a few weeks!

遙知馬力日久見人心 Over a long distance, you learn about the strength of your horse; over a long period of time, you get to know what’s in a person’s heart.
For Canada, I hope Clara Hughes (who did cycle in previous Olympics and also won medal in speed skating in a Winter Olympic) will do well in cycling to satisfy herself. She has won several Olympic medals in both sports. Her profile: http://clara-hughes.com/about-clara/
She had been struggling with depression (and has been a spokesperson for mental health).

Back to our regularly scheduled thread...
Barely turned on NBC and I'm tired of the production values already.
