Yesterday I was working at a show in CT, where I stopped in a small grocery store and noticed their homemade donuts. I haven't had a donut in maybe 10 years, but I thought of Donald, and had one on his behalf. It was delicious.

What a wonderful tribute, as was the one that Jobob linked to. I read through some of Don's blog over the last few days and was richly rewarded. I'm so sorry for his untimely passing, but boy does it sound like he got a lot of his years on this earth.
Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate your friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.

I was at the RAMROD finish line today and was thinking about him a lot. He was the "master of the water barrels" when I met him while volunteering to load trucks. I loved the "color" he provided when giving instructions to the crew.
Last night I read his blog and was so touched and impressed by Donald's open and honest expression of his love for Mimi and the others who were there for him this past year. I'm thankful that he shared with the world.
