I sit, writing this, with tears falling onto my keyboard. Mimi - you are a beautiful, strong, compassionate woman and today my heart breaks for you. Like others, while I never met you or Don, I feel as if I know you both. Keep Don close in your memories - revel in the happy, good times that you shared and know that he loved you.

My sincere condolences to you, your sons, and your entire family at this difficult time. As someone else said already, we here at TE care about you deeply - continue to rely on us as necessary in the coming days and weeks.

    With much love and hugs,
    SheFly

oh, Mimi. I don't have the words to express my sadness at hearing this news. I am heartbroken for you and your family. Don will always be with you.
Thank you for sharing his last day with you. It sounds like he left in the same loving embrace that he entered the world- surrounded by his favorite things and people. Praying for peace and comfort for you right now. Sending much virtual love your way...

Just wanted to send you my caring thoughts for you and your families. I have lost too many members of my family to cancer. (My dad is dealing with it now.) It is no fun to loose family members. Remember the good times when you can and have the emotional energy to do so. What helped me the most was to get get out and ride, hike to clear my mind so I could get through each day. Perhaps that will help. May you be strong in the coming months. Lots of hugs to you.
