I hate to say it, but we should probably search parts too - particularly the distinctive stuff (e.g., saddle, if something's campy, etc.).

Do you mind if I post to a few other groups (one cycling, one not, though it contains cyclists) to spread the word?
At least I don't leave slime trails.

I can't imagine that it would be a problem. Whether to post a stolen bike alert to Craigs is a close call, and their decision. Otherwise, I think asking folks to keep an eye out should be OK.

    Not craigslist, no worries.

I let the guys at 20/20 Cycles (just down the block from me) to keep an eye out for it. They said if they see someone with it, they'll tackle them...

Owlie, spread it far and wide. We'd love to get that bike back.

I'd email Jonathan at bikeportland.org too! He might be able to run something so people here keep an eye out too.

    More eyes more better!

For those on bikejournal there's a similar thread if you want to keep up with their search ideas.

I'm very sorry to read of this Mimi. His cycling zest, strength and enthusiasm is an inspiration.

Don at the height of his randonneuring/long distance endurance cycling was quite impressive. He wanted to ride with Jack around in Seattle...but Jack at that time in Seattle, knew he wasn't totally in shape like Don.

And yea, the next day we found out Don just did a solo 200 kms. in a day.
