Have you posted in Craigslist? I see that type of announcement (stolen bike) on occasion.

It's a good idea to post that to Craigs but when my bike was stolen (much less valuable than Don's) I thought "if I post an alert the thief will avoid Craigs and sell elsewhere; Flea market, Pawn Shop ... I'll never get the chance to spot the ad."

With everyone watching I'd WANT them to post to Craigs. Maybe someone here will see it.

But maybe I'm just sneaky that way.

Also do we have the great and good folks of bikejournal on the trail too?
