    Dura Ace Pedals

I'm getting new pedals on my road bike and have been thinking about the Dura Ace pedals.

Has anyone had any problems unclipping out of them? How do you like them? I've heard that some women have problems unclipping from the Look pedals and was wondering if the D-A had the same problems.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I can't tell you from personal experience, but I can tell you what my husband thinks. He just got them for Christmas and he hasn't put in any road miles with them as he is still in recovery mode from a broken wrist, but he's been on the trainer with them. First, I can tell you he absolutely loves them. He also previously had Look pedals, which he hated because they began to creak horribly. Anyway, he said they are a bit harder to get out of at first, but I haven't heard him complain in a long time. Believe me...he'd be vocal if he didn't like them.

I know absolutely nothing about Dura Ace pedals but I finally got Speedplays and those are GREAT to ride... I had heard many people say that you have to get used to them and you really need to practice on the trainer... had me all freaked out the first time I rode them... so I get on my bike and click... I'm off with no problems... they were SOOOO much easier than my other clipless pedals! If you haven't considered them, they might at least be worth looking at...
There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".
