Talking Hey gals, nice to meet you.

    Real name: Erin

Where do you live? San Francisco, CA

Explanation of your handle: Just a fun play on my full name.

Explanation of your avatar: avatar?? Stole it off my Yahoo IM. I wish I had those earrings.

    Age (general or specific) 29

    Occupation: IT Goddess

Favorite bike: The 06 Colnago Cristallo is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L.

What's in your stable? For now a Lemond Nevada City & Specialized Stumpjumper FSR though I'm currently looking for a new road ride to add to the collection. Maybe next month....

Fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? I've hit 38mph coming down a steep descent in the Presidio. What a rush!

Another picture of yourself or your ride? Hmm, can't think of one. I should get on that.

What is the biggest lie you've ever told: Don't worry honey. A metric century will be easy for you even though you haven't been on a bike for 6 months. Haven't gotten him back on since.

Most memorable moment on my bike: Probably when I went over my handlebars thanks to a tree root in Goldengate Park. It was definitely memorable but not fun.

Most fun ever had on a bike? First time I caught the rhythm on Paradise Rd. We were flying and I was drenched but grinning ear to ear by the time we reached the bakery.

Hey Miffy, thanks for the welcome.

Been biking on and off a few years but really just fell hard for it last summer. Still in training wheels but getting better each day. Let me know if you want to go for a ride sometime, I'm always up for it, road or mountain. Have racks will travel

Holy Smokin Salmon (it's Lent) - I'm gone for a day and we have an Explosion of newbies!

Welcome one and all - how fun is this???

Tamara: hope we didn't scare ya too bad but where else can you come and tell someone you crashed and the first thing you checked was your bike - and they understand!! lol nice stable there btw my friend but I gotta ask - why do you want the Terry over the Fuji??

Mel: your fastest speed recorded is your fastest speed recorded my friend - the longer and steeper the descent - the faster the speed!! LOL (don't tell anyone in the states KM and see the look on their faces!!)

Amc: so you're a belly dancer in a cat house?? how do I get a job like that?? (hopes amc knows I'm just kidding but that was just too good to resist!) Got several Giant riders here - but the Trek riders are Still going to take over the world! (insert evil cackle here)

E2: Loved the biggest lie! I'm sorry he's never gotten back on a bike but I've told myself that lie or similar a time or two! The things we do to get a ride in eh! LOL

again welcome all and hope to hear more from ya!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

    Thanks for the welcome!

CorsairMac: I love my Fuji, it's great! But I bought it with NO knowledge of bikes, and no research, but my brother-in-law recommended it (in our price range). I just wonder if a more women's specific design would make me faster. But since the Fuji only has 300 miles on it, it's going to be awhile before I can look at anything else, anyway.
