    drift ...

The commercial cold packs are made from a chuffier plastic than ziploc bags, and work nicely to keep food cold as well. I'd hesitate to toss a ziploc full of rubbing alcohol into a cooler of food, or even beer.

I wouldn't do that either - it only lives on a shelf in my freezer to be handy for times like this. I am really hoping I didn't actually crack a rib, the more active I am the more I notice it - but that would make sense for muscle or tissue strain as well. Not much they can do for any of it though, and I think it would hurt more if it were an actual cracked rib. I will know more in the morning I think.

The ride AFTER Limewave helped me to get up was the best ever on that trail

It's not the pec - I think it is actually my obliques, but I don't think I broke anything either as that would surely hurt much more. It seems to be a combination of sore breast tissue, obliques and back muscles (on both sides) and ice seems to help the chest.

It is also much better than it was, but I think it will take some time to go away completely. Very thankful it wasn't worse. I did a test yesterday and can do pushups and planks with no additional pain - I think if there were anything to be concerned about that wouldn't be possible - and neither would I have been able to have my best mountain bike ride ever after that fall. I don't THINK I am ignoring a real injury here. Not that I would ever do that

Ok, I've got my fall out of the way for July, glad I have THAT out of the way before next week
