I have considered them and tried them but my fear of snakes and other beasties keeps me wanting to say higher up.

I have one. I had a bad crash a couple of years ago and really lost my nerve. I ride tandem with my husband, but when I want to tool around the neighborhood the trike is great. Builds great quads, too.

Sorry to dig up an older thread, but I have been lusting for one of these for weeks. So far have resisted, but they have a winter special, I can get a candy purple color, and can get 0% for 12 mos financing via Utah Trikes. (As you can see, I have been window shopping.....)

Utah trike is highly regarded!! Talk with them to find out which one will fit you. I'm bit short so even with the pocket, Coventry Cyclery in Portland Or. suggested to cut down the boom by about inch or two. You wont regret getting this trike. It's lot of fun. And if you do get it, make sure you get a "flag" so you can be seen. I have a big gaudy bright colors so it stand out against any background.

I don't own a pocket, I own something bit older and a delta setup. I'm using it to find out what I like and don't like in a trike.
    Delta setup: no like.
no suspension: no like. But I can live with it.
being high off the ground: makes me nervous about rolling it over. Pocket is low and I didn't get that feeling.
head rest: yes should have one that is adjustable. less strain on the neck.

And no need to apologize for digging up this old thread.

I always love window shopping. :-)

Well, just bought a house, haven't sold my fiancés old one yet, getting married in a few months, we have temporary custody of his 10 year old son, etc....that is holding me back so far. But if I really wanted it, I know he would support me. He always does. Funny thing is that i sent him my most recent "cart" so he could see how i got this bike to under $2k with what I wanted. And heck yes, this girl would have flags, bells, whistles and everything to be seen.
