133.5. Yesss!! That makes 6.5 lost since the beginning of March. Going to a wedding in August at the beach; Time to ramp it up and drop the last 6-8 in the next 6 weeks. It will take a concerted effort, but I can do this.
142.6.
The last thing on my mind this week has been fat. I gained at least 3 lbs of water while I was sitting at my desk last Friday afternoon. Realized I hadn't gotten up for a long time, stood up, legs felt like stuffed sausages. It was the worst on Monday-Tuesday, and it stayed until Wednesday. For several days it was so bad my sandals were digging into my feet.
I don't know why it was so bad. I was actually wondering if having the Depakote out of my system was having a bizarre effect on me. A hormone swing might explain some of it, but not the severity or duration. There was nothing unusually salty about the food I was eating, and once it started I made an effort to avoid salty foods.
And I don't know what to do about it. I kept my feet elevated but that didn't seem to help. I don't want to take diuretics but I have no idea what else to do.
Anyway. I'm leaving on Sunday to visit my parents for a week, and their low-carb diet usually leaves me hungry and losing weight, or not gaining at the very least. So we'll see how things go.

I am surprised it is that low. I've been eating like a pig.

NY, I use a timer at work. I set it for 25 minutes and when it goes off, I get up and move around for 5 minutes (also with a timer). Sometimes I do pushups, sometimes I just take big steps like Monty Python. If I had stairs, I'd go up and down the stairs a few times. Something like that might help.

I've been feeling a bit off since Wednesday. Yesterday, it got worse, started having cravings for carbs. Woke up this morning, ate and then proceeded to not only spend extra time in the bathroom, but started a queasy feeling that happens about once every 5 years... diarrhea, following by throwing up. Thankfully, the second one didn't happen, because last time it did, I was still teaching and I had to run out of my class and I spent about 30 minutes laying on the woman's room floor, thinking I was going to die there! I left early for my client, went to to the drug store and bought Pepto, as I had none in the house. I felt horrible all morning, better now, but not great.
Ach, I have friends coming for dinner and am leading a ride tomorrow.
But, I bet I've lost weight.

I'm still stuck at 226. Been eating very well, and exercising well. Not many carbs, lots of salad, lots of lean protein. Getting frustrated![]()
Most days in life don't stand out, But life's about those days that will...

Stuck back at 134ish again...but I have been falling back into old habits (not eating quite enough) but that will change next week. I am not starving myself, just so much going on that it is hard to eat properly and the budget is extremely tight this week. All of this will improve in another week
Amazing how my weight always springs up just a bit when my calories start dropping even a little and they don't have to drop very far from my target for this to happen. I still think some of this is fluid retention from hard efforts and I've learned the only way to take care of it is to take two full rest days from all exercise and my weight drops at least 2 pounds. I don't normally take off two real rest days in a row...
Crankin, I hope you are feeling better now!
