I was wondering if anyone knows what the recommended mileage interval is for servicing wheel bearings and bottom bracket bearings in a road bike.

What model hubs and bottom bracket (or crankset) do you have?

These days almost all bottom brackets are not serviceable. They simply get replaced when they fail or wear out.

The same is true for more and more hubs. If you are lucky, the cartridge bearings can be replaced.

If your hubs are old style cup and cone (almost all Shimano hubs are like this), then they can be serviced. You might plan on repacking the bearings once a year. If you ride in the rain or mud, then perhaps more often.
