It depends on what you want it for ...
I use it mainly because I'm a data geek, but also as a reminder to keep my cadence up. And when satellite reception is weak - like under power lines or heavy/wet tree cover - it gives speed much more accurately than the GPS.
Deany, I've never had an issue with mine moving around, did you have the zip-ties tight enough? Sometimes the spoke magnet will get loose and I've lost one, but my sender/receiver doesn't go anywhere. I did drown two ... I've heard of other people getting theirs wet with no issue, so maybe Garmin fixed whatever design issue it was that caused them to drown, but I've been careful not to get mine wet since. I take it off if I know I'm going to be riding in the rain, and when I wash my bike I either seal it in plastic wrap or take it off.
