Keep and eye/ear on the weather news, ladies. We already have had a tornado sighted in Maryland (around Clarksburg) today. With severe storm watches and tornado warnings for the entire DC metro area, you'll most likely want to cancel your outdoor plans for this afternoon and evening.
BTW "watch" means there's a strong chance of something bad, and "warning" means the something bad exists. And we're up to two tornado warnings in Maryland (northern Montgomery, Frederick County, that area) so far, plus a rotating thunderstorm in Fairfax County VA.

Just heard about a warning for just west of RVA.
They had a tornado warning in SE Washington DC/Prince Georges County earlier, as well one around Accokeek, MD, and others.
I work in an office next to a Holiday Inn -- a week ago their parking lot was full of motorcycles as the riders arrived en masse for Rolling Thunder. I'm glad we didn't have this weather then.

Quiet down on the eastern shore but it's due in later. As long as it clears out for my bike ride tomorrow, it can come. I'm all tucked in the house.
