The Susan B was definitely available in an 11" size during the early 2000's. The next size up during those years was 14".

Yup, it's an 11". I'm close to 5'1". The bike is a bit small for me, even with seat and stem as high as possible. I've heard that the 11" was made for women that were 4'10-5'. It is a pretty small bike!

Breeze, your bike has the added benefit of a steel frame. The new Susan B's are aluminum. You may want to point out this difference in your CL ads to attract steel frame fans.

    I like, it would fit!

Wonder how much it would cost to ship? Any idea?

Most bikes cost $75-100 to ship UPS or FedEx. I've shipped a couple I sold on ebay.

goldfinch, sorry it took me awhile to reply; I'm unexpectedly swamped this week.

I believe that the LBS charges $50 for boxing the bike (but I will check-- not positive); I'll need more location information from you to get the shipping quote.

However, I also had several interested emails yesterday morning from two locals about test riding and buying the bike. I'm going to say that for the moment, shipping the bike is on hold until I can arrange a test ride with them on Sunday or Monday.

Hope that's OK. I'm running on low sleep and about 14 hours of work, so I'm not entirely sure that I'm even writing recognizable sentences. Thanks for your interest-- she is a really great little bike.
