"Zombies are more effective than rabbits..."

Thom and I did short intervals this morning. Typically he runs ahead of me; he's my rabbit, that I'll never catch. But today he was behind me, kind of pacing me. On the penultimate one he says that I have to stay ahead of the zombies. Now I know he can catch me, but I wanted to put it off as long as possible and somehow I managed to sprint 15 seconds faster than I ever have! Typically my sprints are between 5:15 - 5:30 pace, but somehow I came up with a 5:00 even! I was fried, but hey that's what super short sprints are for.

Nice work!! Sprints are killers. But then again, so are zombies.

Gotta love my guy - He emails me today, "I love you for your ...... BRAINS!"

The Zombie Apocalypse is the whole reason he got in shape.

Finally got my butt to the pool. I haven't swum since my last race in September.

After my warm up, I swam a thousand yards, just to kind of get a feel for where I'm at. My time was 19:09, not bad. But regular swimming would definitely improve it.

Just so you know, Veronica, I'd give my right arm and possibly both legs to swim a thousand yards in 19 minutes after a warm up. Although that'll be the end of any swimming for me, so I'll stick to 20 minutes to finish 500 yards. You totally rock in a very big way.

That would make swimming and the rest of your tri - very hard!

    Thanks!
