Hit and Run driver caught

Saw this on ABC news tonight about a hit and run driver, who was caught because of footage on one of the cyclists' bikes. Glad they got him, and also that the story had national coverage.

I'm really amazed that they didn't also charge him with attempted vehicular homicide, since it's pretty clear that he first tried to kill them BEFORE he took off. He also apparently was on probation and they found heroin and ammunition at his residence when they arrested him. And he falsely reported his car stolen. What a loser...I hope they lock him up for a good long time.
