Don't many police dept's have officers on bikes? You'd think this would help change their perception!
It is so sad to read articles like this.

We all have to do our part and try to educate friends, family, etc on rules of the road, what's its like to be on a bike. Before I started riding a few years ago, I always used to wonder why cyclists weren't riding on the perfectly nice sidewalks
