Had a great 13+ mile ride with a friend on upper Cape Cod today. I took my Jamis Aurora because my friend has a comfort bike with mountain bike tires-and had not ridden yet this year. (Not to say that I was much better off...it was only my third ride.)

Weather was near-perfect; it was windy in spots but the wooded areas offered enough protection to keep it from being an issue. We went on some packed dirt roads, and although my bike had some problems with looser sand pockets, she handled pretty well overall. I absolutely love this bike! In many stretches, my friend was pedaling away while Aurora just rolled along effortlessly. There's nothing like steel.
