I think the theme of helmet design is good against evil. Whatever.
There are no vents further down on the front. There are 4 vents at the top of the helmet. Then 2 more vents near the back bottom of the helmet.
I am not worried because I do have another helmet that has alot more vents for hot weather. I would wear the more vented helmet for longer touring rides in summer season. I also cycle in the winter with some seriously cold temperatures.

Looks great, I was thinking about getting the exact same helmet too. But I can't decide on the color - the purple paisley and the red one look nice too.
I think I have a quite oblong head - did you mean the helmet is more oblong or more round in shape?
