Finally, my fashion helmet

Ok, I've been lusting for a round shaped helmet with a design pattern --strictly more for fashion. I already have 2 helmets -1 about 5 years old and the other about 2 yrs.old. Each helmet kept in each city location, depending where I am.

So looks like some manufacturers are gettin' more into round helmets. ie. Giro.

Here I am below. I nearly bought a Nutcase helmet that was black with a big green shamrock on top. I didn't want a predominantly black helmet since I have black hair, anyway.

So some people love their dress shoes, but I actually enjoy looking at bike helmet styles. It also has a small visor which I wanted.

Dumb as this may seem, but I love wearing it.

That is a seriously cool helmet, I LIKE it! I see there are at least a couple of vents, are there any in the front part of the helmet?

I think the theme of helmet design is good against evil. Whatever.

There are no vents further down on the front. There are 4 vents at the top of the helmet. Then 2 more vents near the back bottom of the helmet.

I am not worried because I do have another helmet that has alot more vents for hot weather. I would wear the more vented helmet for longer touring rides in summer season. I also cycle in the winter with some seriously cold temperatures.

Giro is the manufacturer. I guess you'll have to find out their network of distributors/retailers.

Looks great, I was thinking about getting the exact same helmet too. But I can't decide on the color - the purple paisley and the red one look nice too.

I think I have a quite oblong head - did you mean the helmet is more oblong or more round in shape?

It's more round but I can fit this Giro model (medium), compared to Nutcase style.

Round helmets normally don't fit right on my head shape and I end up having to try on a large size which looks ridiculous on me, because a round Nutcase model looks more squat and much wider in shape when one looks straight at my face. Same problem with Bern models and Lazar models that are round shape.

But this Giro model fits me just right and does have dial strap adjuster at the back of the helmet to deal with tightness of the helmet.

I like it. It's cool looking! Besides the artwork, love the green. Adds some practical visibility... besides the fashion fun.
