    I got a click stand and love it. Granted, I'm not carrying heavy gear on my bike but it works on grass, uneven surfaces and concrete. The trick is to use the brake bands that some with the click stand. It has not been super windy so I can't comment on that either, but I find the click stand to be super convenient and I'm glad I spent the $30 for one.

    Thanks for the good review, jyyanks! I would probably be carrying less than ten pounds in a rear rack bag when I have my birding gear.
