I showed it to my 11 year old son tonight. He was totally impressed. I pointed out to him that he never has to be afraid of anything on a bike, since nothing could be scarier than going down a hill like that on skis (I didn't mention downhill mountain biking, ha!). He agreed.

I told the story of this video today to a young girl undergoing a procedure. It was not going well by the time the physician and I arrived. I painted a picture for her, talked in a quiet voice, and told her all of the things the girl in the video said, described what the video girl was looking at, the questions she asked, the shakiness in her voice, and ultimately her success. I guess a metaphor for what this youngster was going through. It worked.
