Dear ladies,
On 8th of March we celebrate the International Women and Mothers' Day. The tradition in my country is the men to buy flowers and presents for their friends, spouses, colleagues and of course, mothers. It'a a very beautiful tradition: ladies receive lots of male attention and feel beautiful and loved.
So, I want to congratulate all riding ladies, to wish you health, love and many many wonderful miles of bike joy.
Happy Womens' Day!

What a lovely tradition. We celebrate Mother's Day in May and Father's Day in June in America. Do you have a Men's Day in Bulgaria?
Is that your beautiful planter?

Father's Day is on 26th of December but it's not very popular.
And also, there is a Boy's Day on the 2nd of February. The traditional dish is chicken (rooster in fact) and also, it is considered to be the holiday of gays. It's also called Rooster Day.
What wonderful traditions! I love the planter. Finally the answer to "what do I do with this extra bike?" thread
We have Mother's Day founded by Ann Jarvis in 1868 to promote the cause of world peace, not for Hallmark greeting card company. Father's Day followed. In Japanese culture there's a grandparents day which is a great tradition. So many kids lack contact with Grand's and vice versa. Wish we adopted their tradition! Perhaps someday it will gain a toe hold here.
In the US if there's a holiday for gays it's Pride Day. The last Sunday in June. Some regions it is Pride week, even Pride month depending on how many festivals, parades and events in the area. It marks the 1969 Stonewall rebellion in New York City. Our traditional dish is quiche & Perrier.![]()
I'm just kidding about the traditional dish of "my people".![]()
