ah {{{{{Pax}}}}} It is SO hard... try to take a day off, even an afternoon off. Believe me, your mother will understand.

    Thanks for the update.

(((Pax))). What Mimi said. Try to carve out a bit of time for yourself.
Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate your friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.

I got a day off yesterday, my brother took a turn. It was awesome, my honey and I went to the gym, I got in a fantastic swim, we had a nice lunch, did the grocery shopping, and then went home and watched a movie. It was heavenly!!

My brother is having eye surgery at Northwestern on Thursday so it will be my last break for a while, but as mom improves the visits are a bit less stressful. Thanks for the good thoughts everyone.

PAX - Hang in there girl. Sounds like things are slowly on the mend for your Mom.

More good thoughts for you. I'm glad you got a break. And good thoughts to your brother for his surgery.

Thanks everyone, I'm trying to take a zen approach to all of this. It's just a snapshot in time.
