Interesting.
A lot of those Superbike guys use cycling to stay in shape - and they're built like cyclists, most of them, small and lean. (I think Simoncelli was the Cipollini equivalent.)

I really, really, really need to stop reading the comments on stories like that one.
The number of amazingly, mind numbingly stupid and hostile comments makes me want to crawl into bed and pull the covers up over my head. There just can't be as many totally stupid people in the would as those comments would have you think, can there??
