It's REALLY, good for recipe idea's I have had some amazing pasta's, soups desserts. And great craft idea's. It is an online magazine I think without having to store them or waste paper. All recipes can be printed out as well as all kinds of stuff. It was great help for us at a christmas craft party. We made 2 things we found on it.

Yep, I've found great recipes, as well as ideas for things we can do to fix up our house. And the really great part is that I rarely have to look for this stuff. Other people post things that I never would have thought to look for--some truly brilliant things!

I am sorta tired of the wedding crap and fashion, though. But I can unsubscribe to those individual boards.

I mostly use it to bookmark things I want to be able to find later. I'm a visual person, so having pictures with descriptions work better for me than saving a link in my browser's bookmark.

That is the best way to describe it: visual bookmarking of favourite photos to remind one of ideas, things to do (recipes, art design) on a virtual web page bulletin board.

I haven't used it myself...I gotta clean up the long clutter of bookmarked sites I've accumulated over the years!

It took me a little bit to figure it out too. I found out about it through Etsy. Like sgtiger, I use it a lot to bookmark interesting items or ideas.

You can also follow other peoples pins. One woman that I follow pins photos of woman's clothing from the 1800s that are lovely. Another pins old photos - anything & everything, from street scenes to family portraits to circus freaks to silent movie stars - that are just so interesting.

You do have to be careful tho! because it can be a time sucker.

I use it, but not that often (once or twice a week maybe?) I have a board for cycling stuff, a board for things to knit/crochet and an inspirational words one (I think).
