Pax, sorry to hear about your mom. How old is she? I hope her illness can be managed. When we found my grandmother had the same thing, we thought it was a death sentence. But it was not.

Ditto with my grandmother. Good luck Pax's mom!

    Dear Yoga facility,

I love you, but if you know ahead of time that you are going to cancel one of your "daily, 9 am" classes due to a retreat going on, wouldja mind putting up a sign, or something? Not only did I go this morning only to be turned away, but I also told another gal, and she also tried to go to meet me there.

Sigh...I love Belize, but there are some basic things about customer service they just don't "get".

    Sorry about your mom Pax.
    Dear body,
Why are you so tired from xcountry skiing? It was so fun, but I am exhausted.

That means you got an excellent full-body workout! I love that kind of exhaustion...

She is 77, and prior to this downturn in her health she was very active, so I hope that will help with recovery.

She is looking better and better, they took her off O2 today and her sats stayed up around 95! Cath on Monday will tell us more.

Once this is over, I bet she'll feel sooooo much better, maybe even start enjoying life again.
