I bought one of those flashing lights from the website. I can wear it on my wrist, which will be nice.
I would get a road ID, but I move so often, I figured it was better just to carry a piece of paper on me.

I got the biker girl on mine. And the pictures on the web site don't do it justice! An i got a red silencer. I wish they had pink though.

Brandi... they're great aren't they? I keep mine inside my glass case... that way when I ride I never forget it... cause I never ride without glasses! works really well for me... I thought about keeping it in my shoe, but the glass case works just as well...![]()

My impression was that you needed laces for the shoe one...I didn't like the ankle or wrist options because gawd knows I don't need an additional tan line...
the dog tag seemed perfect for me... I tuck it inside my jersey and I'm good to go! doesn't matter which one tho... I know some people hate having anything around their neck... I always wear necklaces so it doesn't bother me!![]()

I got my Road ID not too long ago, and I love it, too! And I thought it was great customer service that they send it USPS and the company pays for shipping. I feel great comfort wearing mine since I bike and run alone out on country roads.
I have the necklace style, and the only thing I noticed about it that was sort of discomforting is that the ID hitting against the chain sounds like a dog's collar with an ID and it freaks me a bit, since I've been chased and bitten by a dog. Funny how that one incident 12 years ago still haunts me.

I think I'm going to get one. I need steroids if I ever get sick or injured, and I have a medicalert bracelet but the engraving on the back is not really legible anymore.
They are really nice. I feel bad for you to have to be on that stuff. I was on steroids for a while once and it was awful! Do you gain weight on them? or is that why you bike? I gained 10 pounds in like two weeks on them and it has been hard getting those pounds to go away.

I just received mine today! Yippee!![]()

Hubby and I both picked the ankle bracelets. They feel nice! I got the blue one - the reflective strip is bigger than I thought. They also weigh less than I expected. Very nice!
I've been on steroids for the past several years, and it is so miserable. I don't make hormones anymore because I had brain cancer a few years ago, and they had to take out part of my pituitary. All in all, I've probably gained 30 pounds. It's awful. And you're right - it's so hard trying to get those pounds to go away.Originally Posted by Brandi
I don't understand at all how people can take these things for body building.

The road ID will velcro to your shoe strap - thats how I have mine - you don't need laces. I just leave it on my shoe all the time, it never gets taken off.
As for the steroid use while body building - those steroids are slightly different, but either can make you miserable. I'm sorry you have to be on them fuji. Very very smart for you to have an id tag!

OK, so I bought one today. I hope it is cute. There wasn't enough room to fit my entire medical history, so I just put "panhypopit, give me steroids."![]()
I was going to get the picture of the Biker Chick, but then I realized at the last minute they had the Fuji bike symbol (like my avatar) and I couldn't resist. hee hee
