I wear soft star runabouts every day at work, at home, everywhere except on my bike. Since I bought my first pair, I have turned on both my daughter in law and my son, my son who can't stand shoes to these nice flexible lightweight shoes. And if you're a vegan, they have stuff for you too.

There are flat shoes that fold up very small you can get at your local Rite Aid. I do believe they look like Mary Janes. They are being sold as shoes to take when you are out partying in high heel shoes and need something to slip into when the pain becomes to unbearable.

They just stop selling little foldable slip-on flats at Target in the accessories department - if you have small feet, your store might have some left at 70% off. Gap has some called City Flats but they aren't very cheap (I bought a pair on clearance for about $4 a before Christmas).

Oooh, those soft stars sure look nice. I wonder how small they will pack up? I might do a Target run to see if they have anything.

I have a pair of soft foldable, very thin slip ons that are really some sort of camping gear. I got them for our tour in Spain a couple of years ago; truthfully, I haven't used them since. If I have to walk (which is usually not more than going in to get lunch or use a bathroom), I put my cleat covers on. So, get some, if you don't have them.

Softstar shoes is having a sale today on some discontinued and irregular shoes, 30% off. I picked up a pair that should work for me. I also picked up a pair of really inexpensive kids shoes in a wild color combination (which is probably why they were cheap) that will fit me too. Their site is slow though and seems overwhelmed with the sale. www.softstarshoes.com
