Our Siamese mix has that weird throaty voice that he uses sometimes. Our big long haired Maine Coon looking kitty has a very thin squeak almost. The other one is somewhere in the middle - but mostly a monotone....
I wonder if the tiny little bell like squeak is typical of Maine Coons? Our 22 pound boy Tux has such an itty bitty tiny voice which he uses hardly at all. Neither of our current cats talk all that much,maybe one or two comments e very couple of weeks. Previously we had an ocicat (abyssinian/siamese cross breed) that talked and whine constantly.

Now if we could only break the dogs of barking constantly at e verything and nothing.
