    S: piece of whole wheat bread with soy nut butter
    D: (at friends' house) 2 glasses red wine, vegetable soup, salad, one boneless chicken breast with parsnips, whole wheat cous cous
    decaf, and one very small chocolate chocolate chip cookie

    ride fuel: 3 shot blocks, 1/2 clif bar (skimpy for 3 hour/ 54 mile ride!)
    l: veggie egg & cheese scramble, raisin toast, nonfat mocha
    s: cranberries & walnuts, cheese popcorn
    d: Trader Joe's ginger-soy cod, stir fried sugar snap peas, onion, red pepper and mushrooms, rice
    dessert: 1 oz dark choc hazelnut

    S: nuts and cranberries, later piece of Machengo cheese, 3 whole wheat pita rounds
    D: boneless chicken breast with "jerk" rub, salad with spinach and hearts of palm, vinaigrette, black beans, 1 piece of dark chocolate

    Apple juice, green tea latte
    30-minute trainer session
    1 glass of low-sodium V8, with a couple drops of Tabasco.
    A spin on 15-bean soup: The bag of beans, minus seasoning packet, chicken broth, celery, carrots, 2 slices of bacon, .5 lb chorizo, kale, Tabasco sauce, S&P, and a 28oz can of diced tomatoes. I didn't know that beans could be that good.

    I might have some baklava for dessert.
    At least I don't leave slime trails.

    I was on an overnight trip, so yesterday was . . .
    B: 1 cinnamon roll, 1 egg, 1/4 of a biscuit, 1/2 banana, coffee
    2 hours tennis
    L: salami, cheese and 5 crackers
    Snack: 1 beer
    D: roasted chicken, macaroni and cheese (homemade), peas, 1 glass of red wine
