I love wheat berries and usually eat them in a salad:

Two cups of wheat berries...soaked for about an hour and them put in the rice cooker with two and a half cups of water to cook.

Then, since i don't measure, here are some of the things I add:

dried cranberries
roasted pumpkin seeds
chopped apple
chopped spinach
brocolli florets

For the dressing:

1/4 cup ginger ale (I use Trader Joes)
3 tablespoons of apple cider vinagar
juice of one small lemon
2- 3 tablespoons of good Olive Oil
Whisk it all together and pour over the salad. Let it sit for aboout an hour if you can before eating.

I also use a little bit of crushed red pepper only because I love the mix of sweet and hot!
