Congratulations! It is a beautiful bike!

Ummmm, not to sound stupid, but how do electronic shifters work?

I asked the guy at the LBS that exact same question today, he said "don't ever ride a bike with it unless you're prepared to buy it, you'll never go back to regular shifting again". He said a small computer monitors/controls the shifting process (done by touching a button rather than moving a lever), it's supposed to be insanely cool.

Fun ride planned for Sunday from Arivaca to Sasabe and back- 50ish miles, not everyone is as slow as me. Let me know if you and the new bike are interested.
