    Today:

B: steel cut oats with a tsp of PB, scrambled egg whites, skim milk and coffee

    S: 1/2 cliff bar

2 hour hike - ate rest of Cliff bar, and hiked another 1.5 hours (hiked several beautiful mountain bike trails)

Dinner came early, like at 4:00, but I was HUNGRY after the 3.5 hour hike! Turkey wrap with a bit of cheese, mushrooms, onion, spinach, and a small amount of slaw - yummy!

Still hungry when I got home - though my stomach was upset for some reason (wondering if the food at the restaurant was slightly off). Made a mix I like sometimes - fat-free Greek yogurt with fresh blackberries and a bit of bran cereal mixed in for crunch goodness.

B: Tea w/ milk and sugar, cereal
L: Pasta with vodka sauce, handful of chili almonds
S: Bag of Doritos, 3 pieces of chocolate, and an almond cluster!
The good news is that I got my stats homework done.
    D: Bowl of cereal
At least I don't leave slime trails.

Had to fuel for 125 miles ( I think I burned 5000 cal)

B- Oatmeal and nutella, small cranberry orange scone

Ride fuel: 1 1/2 packs shot blocks, 3 packs GU, handful of trailmix and on pretzels, 1bottle w electrolyte drink, at least 3 bottles of water

Lunch: part of croissant w/ cream cheese and jam, sun chips, 2 two bite brownies, 2 small cans of V8

D:I ordered chile relleno, rice, red chile (beef), tortilla but ate about 1/2 and passed the rest on to the ever voracious DH. And chips and salsa.

Snacked on popcorn driving home and split an enormous piece of decadent chocolate cake with my DH and son

B: one sunny side up egg with melted low fat Havarti cheese over it, coffee
    L: left over chick pea/sweet potato/veggie stew
S: after 16 mile ride, pack of nuts and cranberries and 2 dried apricots
D: dinner at a tapas restaurant. I had a little bit of tortilla Espanola, marinated artichokes, mushrooms, short ribs, chorizo, and prunes wrapped in serrano ham with goat cheese. 2 glasses of sangria.
I was still hungry when I got home, but the sangria outweighed the small amount of food I had, so I went to bed! It was hard enough to not eat the bread.

Crankin - I broke down and got some Machengo cheese from Trader Joe's, looking forward to trying it out! I love cheese, so I have to be careful with it.

I hope you don't get as addicted as I am. But, I recently read something that said to the effect that it helps people, particularly women, to eat a little bit of full fat cheese every day, as it makes you feel full.
Now, if I could just stop thinking about the bread I am not eating.... haven't entirely cut it out, but cut down a lot.
