It would have helped if B&N hadn't named it the "Tablet." I think the name is misleading but it's getting them sales.

Yeah, the first link finishes with everyone figuring out how to block the 1.4 update used to close the bootloader hole -- and the struggling with how to get around it. I don't think I want to go to all the effort. The article was from before the update.

I think there is a plethora of pissed off peoples out there. You probably made a wise choice. I know I'm feeling a sense of dodging a bullet.
