You were right. The weekend sucked. You're tired and cranky. It was 48 hours and 600 miles of driving (all done by you) to deal with cranky, b!tchy, very drunk people. You survived the driving and parking in DC, and no one puked on you (and you have been reminded why it is not fun to go to bars or to be the completely sober one in a room full of those falling down drunk). You DID get some fun time with your friend who was kind enough to house you when the BIL (who demanded your presence) told you to stay in a hotel - so not all was lost. Resist the urge to tell DH that you told him so. Trust me. Move along. Find some holiday spirit. After you get a good night's sleep.
Good job on getting your trainer workout in today - after all of that. Getting home at 8PM with 3 hours of sleep is not conducive for a workout and you did it.Most days in life don't stand out, But life's about those days that will...
