Either there's no 3G signal at all (off the beaten path), or the network is so congested that they have to wait for literally minutes to, say, load navigation, Urbanspoon, or whatever, on a purported 3G connection.

I only know one person with an iPhone 4, but he says the antenna issues are just as bad as reported, and the rubber baby buggy bumper doesn't entirely solve it.

Interestingly, I have the iPhone4 and have never had the antennae issue...

It's called RunKeeper. Don't let the "run" part steer you away. This app is awesome. It has settings for biking, hiking, walking, running etc. It also uses your phone's GPS to track your routes, calculates your speed/pace, distance, calorie burn, time. It has a website as well and the iphone app sends all your exercise data to the website. You can track all your data, recall your cycling route and share on Facebook etc., if you like that sort of thing.

Okay here's the best part.... when it first came on scene, I paid $9.99 for the "PRO" version....however during the month of January the PRO version of the app is FREE FREE FREE, not for a limited trial time, not for a limited number of exercise inputs... FREE PEOPLE ! Honest, I don't work for them, I'm just in love with the app

CT do you happen to know if this app uses up data from your data plan? If so about how much are we talking? I'm new at the iPhone thing so I'm trying to see how much data i will actually use.

There's only one way to find out!

Angry Birds just doesn't do it for me. Which is a good thing, I'm sure.

DH and I play Angry birds together. We lay on the bed and one person does the controlling and the other makes suggestions and we swap frequently. It's actually a nice relaxing time together.

I don't consider this time a "time waste". It's bonding. Lots of kisses and cuddles when we get past a hard level too!

    Using Itunes?

I may be getting an Iphone after my Ipod mysteriously disappeared two months ago. I *think* it fell out of my purse at a weekly race but the person who could confirm if it was turned in has not returned multiple emails.

I definitely want to be able to add Itunes to my phone, I work in a noisy office and the music helps my productivity by blocking noise. I had an 8gb Ipod Nano, it was at about 5-6gb full. Do I need an Iphone 16gb or 32gb? Obviously upgrading my Blackberry to a 16gb is the most cost effective plan. Of course seeing the apps I know I will want room for the Itunes and Apps.

I am hoping to get the Iphone 4s because my friends that have it said they do see improvements from the Iphone 4.

I've got the 16 and currently have about 9 GB of music on it... more than enough for me of everything I like. I guess it depends on how much variety you want.

What I do on my iPod, I created a playlist based on my "eclectic mix" that only includes music with a last played date longer than 6 months ago. That way I have a playlist that's a manageable size for my 8GB iPod, and once I hear a song, it scrolls off the playlist and makes room for something I haven't heard recently. You could vary the date depending on the size of your library, the capacity of your phone and how often you listen to music.

There's also a setting now that automatically puts a lower-resolution file on your portable device. Used to be if I didn't want hi-res copies taking up space on my iPod, I had to make a lo-res duplicate on my computer and check that one to sync. No need for that any more.

You don't have to be a musician to enjoy this app. I'm totally addicted to Magic Piano. It's like guitar hero for piano, but for your iPhone or iPad.
-Bloom, Trope, and Air: They are sensory/music apps. I use them with my clients, but it's very relaxing to play with when you just need to chill.
-iFitness: It is very useful in the gym when I run out of ideas for strength training workouts.
-GPSLite: I use this to keep track of my mileage during rides and running.
-Whitenoise: It helps me fall asleep in hotels and other "strange" places.
