Well, my embarrassing moment was when at the start of my first organised ride, I fell as I was clipped in in front of these hordes of riders. The guy next to me, almost fell too, but my DH who was on the other side of him, managed to keep him up. Then my DH APOLOGISED to the guy! He realised later he was apologising for me

Anyway being a relative newbie, I always seem to have a bruise or some gravel rash, or some small open wounds (esp on the knees) on the go at one time or another. Everyone at work checks me out each weekend to see what's new![]()
BTW, the weather in sunny Sydney (Australia) today was a nice balmy 35 degrees C which is almost too hot to cycle. It doesn't snow here, so you can pretty much cycle all year around, except it gets very dark in the winter mornings, and winter is coming soon. Can't complain really![]()
