I don't have full-on IBS but many things aggravate me in that way if I'm not careful. Have you ever talked to a naturopath about it? I used to have a lot worse frequency and problems, but since figuring out a few culprits and adjusting certain parameters I have my digestive issues mostly contained.
Interesting - everyone always talks about bananas as the perfect cycling food, but it seems like there are quite a few of us out there that can't do them. I love bananas - but not on the bike!! I get wretched stomach cramps if I eat them before cycling. I think they are great afterwards though.
