Crankin - you give me ideas on how to mix things up

B: steel cut oats with a couple of almonds and a few blueberries, skim milk, turkey bacon and coffee. On non-ride days breakfast is usually my largest meal
L: 1/2 cup brown rice and 1/2 cup crawfish chili-cheese etoufee (yumm!)
    S: apple, couple of almonds
    45 minutes on the trainer
D: 1/2 cup rice, cup of homemade white bean/turkey/tomato chili
S: a bit of bran cereal and skim milk - craving this for some reason...

Wanted a beer, but I try to reserve that for the weekends, just too many empty calories.

That didn't happen to come out of Cooking Light, did it?

    Today:
B: 3 pancakes with butter and syrup
Latte from the Student Union. I swear they put diazepam in there so you go back for more coffee.
L: Rice with lentils and ground beef. Courtesy of a friend...tasty!
    Another latte, a couple Gobstoppers.
1/2 a mug of tea, some Goldfish, 2 Digestives
    D: Cereal w/ 1%
An embarrassingly large number of almonds that I was supposed to be seasoning and toasting for snacks for the next week or so...
    The rest of the tea.

I have vegetables. I should eat them.
At least I don't leave slime trails.

Yes, it did. All of my recipes come out of the magazine or their cookbooks. I hardly use any other recipes anymore.

Cooking Light? I don't typically use recipes, I just put together what seems good to me. That generally works pretty well, but with my somewhat restricted diet I've been running out of ideas. I've not heard of this cookbook or magazine, but from reading your posts it makes me curious

    Yesterday:

B: steel cut oats with a few almonds, blueberries. Skim milk, coffee
L: small amount of turkey white bean chili, rice, apple
    S: banana

30 minute lower body workout (outside of a couple of safe upper body exercises), and 30 minutes on the arc trainer.

D: remainder of the left-over turkey/white bean/tomato chili, brown rice. A small salad with no-fat cottage cheese, baby spinach and frozen blueberries. I was starving!
